You need:

100g “Lace Pure Wool” by handpaintedyarn.com ( 100% wool, 850yards/778m per 100g skein)

Straight or circular needles size 5 (US)

Tapestry needle

2 stitchmarkers

 

 

 

Note:

Knit the first and last three stitches of every row (garter stitch)

R  = row

st  = stitch

k  = knit

p  = purl

yo  = yarn over

k2tog  = knit two together

slkpsso.  = slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit the next stitch, pass slipped stitch over

Directions:

Loosely cast on 105 stitches.

Knit four rows.

Preparation row: k3, place marker, work 1st row of upstairs pattern 9 times, place marker, k3.

Continue with knitting the three stitches before first marker and behind second marker in every row and work the 99 stitches between the markers in lace pattern. Work the 32 rows of the pattern repeat 10 times.

Knit four rows.

Cast off the stitches very loosely.

 

Weave in ends but do not cut them now. Soak shawl in cold water for 20 minutes and wrap it in a towel to remove excess water and block it carefully. Let it dry thoroughly and cut yarn ends. Ready! Have fun!
